Living As Faithful resident aliens

Main Idea: We must be faithful “resident aliens”!  We want to &nish well (13)  By dying “in faith” Not having received what is promised  But having seen them from afar and greeted them Having acknowledged that we are strangers and exiles on the earth  We want to seek a heavenly homeland (14-16a)  We want to desire heaven (14, 16a) We don’t want to turn back (15)  We want God to reward our faith (16b-c)  He is not ashamed to be called the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (16b) He has prepared for them a city (16c)
