Not Tithing Gets You Killed? What about Ananias and Sapphira? Hypocrites, or Evil?

330 ( 266 | 64 )

Before we start the lecture we have a present from someone in Japan (Yes, we are in fact world famous). Thanks Richard. Very well received.

But now we dive back into the deception of Ananias and Sapphira. But was it more than that? Were they just hypocrites or... were they in fact Evil?

Here is what pastor puts on the board:

  1. Deceptive
    Fraudulent
    Pretense
    Hypocrites

  2. Premeditated
    Sinister
    Wickedness
    Evil

This all happens immediately after:
Shaken Room
Boldness
Evidences of Resurrection of God/Jesus God
Salvation by Grace Only
And the reference to Numbers 18:20 and Deuteronomy 10:9

What had happened prior to the death of these two?

But option 1 says that tithing is worship. And we all know that if God kills people for not tithing we'd all be dead.

Here's a great thing to understand. In Acts 4:32, what does the word "common" used here actually mean in today’s vernacular? You’ll need to listen to pastor explain this one. Why should I ruin it for you?

Suffice to say, by this point in the lecture, Acts 5:1-11 should start becoming clearer to all of you. If not, listen to the rest of the lecture and go back and listen to the previous 4 or 5 again.

Thanks so much for all your encouragement. We're very pleased to have the Internet congregation we've acquired thus far.

Hold on... What’s this? Another list! If you’re not watching the video, you’ll need it.

B. Satan's Lie Genesis 3:4 -"will not surly die."

D. I Will "Be Like God" -good from evil
E. Ananias - Evil
