Handwriting On The Wall

Daniel chapter 5 fast-forwards years ahead, to the reign of a new king, Belshazzar. This king, in his sinful pride, abused the vessels that were taken from the temple. The king's party is brought to an end when a mysterious hand begins writing on the plaster wall of the palace. This message from God was urgent, because the king would not survive the night. In these events, God showed Belshazzar that He is in charge of all things.
