The Rebuilding Continues

The rebuilding continues with this sermon covering the final gates (4-10) in Nehemiah 3:13-32). The rebuilding starts with the Sheep Gate, the Fish Gate, the Old Gate followed by the Valley Gate, Dung Gate, Gate of the Fountain, etc.

The Valley Gate represents the humility needed in each person's life.

The Dung Gate represents the cleansing necessary in one's life.

The Gate of the Fountain has the most information covering verses 15-25 and represents the fountain of living waters from the indewelling. Spirit.

The Water Gate which represents the washing of the water by the word. The Horse Gate which refers to the warfare every Christian must face.

The East Gate represents the Second Coming when Jesus will return to the Temple through the Eastern Gate.

The Gate of Miphkad which represents the final judment.

Finally, the gates come full circle where the rebuilding began at the Sheep Gate in the final verse (verse 32).

The rebuilding needs to begin at home, not just God's house.
