Then They Cried to the Lord

Life is full of people who are unwise. Our perspective about the Lord determines everything else. The Lord delivers those who trust in Him. We need to give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. How is it possible that there is so much suffering, sometimes it is because we are doing the wrong thing, sometimes it is because someone else is doing the wrong thing. However, everyone has sinned. The reason why something inside us says, “This is not the way things are supposed to be”, is because there is a God. After misery and destruction came to the people, they cried out to the Lord, then God delivered them from their distress. Even babies cry out when they are hungry and thirsty. God picks us up and takes us where we need to be. There is no problem and no addiction, that we have, that is too tough for God. Rebellious ways will cause people to become fools. God is the One who blesses and curses. If we are wise, we will heed the words of the Lord. There is nothing to be afraid of if we fear the Lord.
