#9 The Effectual Call of the Gospel

A single story - a view of the Bible that is declared in our Bible Study, but one that must be heard and must be believed in order for one to come to faith in Christ.

The gospel is a proclamation and a declaration, but it is not an invitation. The gospel is positively responded to by the effectual call of the Holy Spirit. The gospel is a proclamation of God, of Jesus, concerning righteousness, concerning sinners, and grace.
