Redemption's Majestic Price

Each person of the Trinity is involved in the grand work of redemption. Part of this verse draws special attention to the work of the Son of God and to the ramifications of the shedding of His blood on the cross. It was a work to set His people apart (to sanctify them by the sprinkling of the blood) and to purify them unto obedience. The high price of redemption stresses the glorious work that is accomplished through it.
