Is The Bible Easy? If you think so, just listen to this

333

It seems from pastor’s first comments that some of you are not on the same page as our pastor. Well, that’s nothing new. But some of you are saying that Joshua chapters 5 thru 10 have nothing to do with Romans chapter 9. I’ll let pastor tell you what he’s gonna tell you on that one. Cause, hey… I’m with you guys. Could anybody listening to us on the Internet be wrong? Of course not! ;-}

You see, you need to understand why Jacob wrestles with Christ and comes away with a limp. And then you need to understand why Esau hugs his brother Jacob. Now tie that in with what happens with the prodigal son story that Jesus tells, and you’ve got a start. But now you need to understand why Moses doesn’t bear his circumcision to his descendants. And then just add in Joshua’s event which ends with his lament over the dead thirty six, and you’ve got it.

See there? Nothin’ to it. Okay… I’ll admit it. This stuff is hard. Pastor says that what ties these men together is that they are, all three, confronted with Christ in front of them. I know… that’s not much help. Did I mention that he says to also add in Pharaoh and the potter and the clay? Pastor says putting all these things together will explain Romans 9:13. He says that’s the plan. So I should just stop there and let pastor Chronister clear all this up for you.

If this sermon sort of clears things up for you, please let us know so pastor can get a chuckle out of the idea that he’s making people think like him. Yes we’re weird.

Thank you for listening. Feel free to contact this pastor with encouragement and questions. And for those of you who enjoy supporting this ministry we thank you.
