Christ, Our Redemption

The aim of this series of four messages is to demonstrate that Christ Himself is all we need. He is “the way, the truth, and the life.” He is “the resurrection and the life.” He is the “Bread of life” and the “Light of the world.” He is the “Author and the Finisher of our faith.” He is our “wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.”

All we have comes from God as the fountain, and through Jesus Christ as the channel. We are foolish, ignorant, and blinded to the things of God, but He is “made unto us wisdom.” We are guilty and undone spiritually, but He is “made unto us righteousness.” We are depraved and corrupt, but He is “made unto us sanctification.” We are in bonds, and he “is made unto us redemption,” our Savior and Deliverer.

Do you have this thirst for perfect holiness, this “groaning” for complete redemption – body, soul, and spirit? Have you made it your daily prayer: “Lord, make me as holy as a redeemed sinner can be”? Only when you stand perfected before the throne will your redemption be complete! Christ Himself is all you need. Do you know that you are “in Him”?
