Difficulty in Listening to God

At the end of the Transfiguration event, God's voice boomed "This is My Son, My Chosen One, listen to Him." But listening to Him is not that easy. The series of events that followed the transfiguration demonstrate this difficulty and what results when we do not listen to Him. It provides us with needed insight to our own difficulty.
