The Saints, My Delight

Jesus pledged His faithfulness to the Father. The eternal co-equals relate in blessed communion. Jesus' pledge was: Thou art my Lord. We see it again and again, God is distinct yet perfectly equal in every way. We are privileged to hear Jesus in His humanity address the Father in heaven. Jesus declared God's saints to be His delight. Elsewhere that word is translated pleasure, desire and purpose. Jesus came to save God's chosen people.
