When She Found It

The parable of the Lost Silver is really about the Found Silver. This Jewish woman had been given by her husband ten silver coins to wear as a part of her head dress. She never left home without them. To do so disgraced her husband and her home. The unthinkable happened. She lost one of them. She searched to no avail. Finally, lighting an expensive candle and carefully sweeping, she found it. She typifies the Holy Spirit finding God's elect.
