Be Near Me
Series Jesus in the Psalms & Isaiah
24
Jesus is at or near the depth of His suffering. At the bookends of these words Jesus appealed to His heavenly Father for "help". Nevertheless, He was left to suffer and bare sin alone. He spoke of His suffering from without and within. He compared His pursuers to angry bulls and flesh-eating lions. He said they pierced His hands and feet. He spoke of His death by crucifixion more than three hundred years before it existed.
