i. God hears and speaks
ii. God's messages are clear and is to be told
iii. God's timing is perfect and comes to pass
iv. The Proud is not right and never rests
v. The righteous shall live by his faith

Verses 6-20- Woes of the wicked
i. The thief will be robbed
ii. The houses built will be deconstructed
iii. The city fortified will be demolished
iv. The shameless will be humiliated
v. The carved image will be ineffective
