The Evidence of Faith

An introduction to the Hebrews Chapter 11 which is commonly referred to as the Hall of Faith. In this sermon, Elder Neil Phelan, Jr. rightly divides faith into its vital (Gal 5:22), academic (Jude 1:3), and active (Matthew 15:28) dimensions which we see represented in the scriptures. One may have vital faith and yet not possess the others. It is for this reason that the bible issues manifold exhortations to God's people who possess the faith imparted in regeneration (VItal Faith) to learn more about the faith once delivered to the saints (Academic Faith) and to live in accordance with such teaching (Active Faith).
