Mt. Olivet Discourse: The Lightning and the Vultures

As Jesus has now impressed upon His disciples the urgency of fleeing all of Judea when they see the Roman armies approaching, He now gives a final warning. In those days, their attachment to Christ and to their homeland would make them susceptible to false prophets and false Christs. Even so, we must be careful not to be deceived by those who preach that Christ has already returned - or is soon to do so. We mustn't let our desires for Christ's coming make us prone to believe error.
