Where Does Your Strength Come From?

The prayers of Paul recorded for in the New Testament teach us how to pray for the things that are most important. This sermon seeks to learn from the prayer found at the end of Ephesians 3. Verses 14 through 16 are examined under the headings: Paul's Approach to God, and Paul's First Request. The first heading looks at the reason for the prayer, Paul's attitude in prayer, and the God to whom Paul prays. The second heading explores Paul's request for power by considering the kind of power, the source of power, the direct agent of the power, and receiving power in the inner man.
