This evening sermon overlaps with the morning sermon and was to comfort God's people at PECA, the Van Leuvens, and our family and broader church family, and Jennifer Van Leuven (Pastor's Wife) who just had a near death experience this weekend but thankfully has largely recovered. We thank all the saints around the world who have been praying for Jennifer as we got the word out. We are amazed and overcome with joy after being in agony and overwhelmed with grief. We praise the Lord Jesus Christ, Who is the Way, the Truth, the Life, and the Resurrection!
In Psalm 42:5, David is again hurting and again he goes to God to help him and again God is His greatest help.
Your soul will always need lots of help. God alone is your soul's greatest help. Wait on and call out for God by singing His psalms to help your soul. Hold on through the Hurt by Hoping in God.
