Is the Sabbath a Dead Issue Today? (Part 1)

The question that is asked and answered in this lesson is: 'What are the major reasons why the Sabbath is considered a dead issue today?' In other words, what are the most popular objections by evangelicals today against a New Covenant/Christian Sabbath observance?

Five Reasons are considered and refuted - this lesson deals with the first two reasons, the next lesson will cover the last three.

Reason #1 - 'The 4th commandment (Sabbath observance) was purely 'Jewish' and therefore has passed away along with the other Jewish acouterments of the Old Testament.'

Reason #2 - 'The New Testament reiterates all the other nine commandments, but is silent with reference to the 4th commandment.'

Both of these objections are answered and shown to be incorrect.
