Focus For Kingdom Effectiveness

It is vital that we focus upon something definite if we want to be effective in the Kingdom and this ought to be selfless focus upon the Kingdom. Our ultimate goal is always to be focused upon dominion work, that is, upon the practical outworking of Christ's rule over all things His Kingdom reign. This is a call to war: to oppose and tear down all things that exalt themselves against the name of Christ. However, if we do not focus, we won't hit anything. Whatever we do we should be thinking strategically for the Kingdom, looking always toward the long-term impact of our efforts. If we are not self-consciously thinking about dominion in everything we do and getting our children to be thinking in the same way, then we are on the path to extinction. Remember that the next generation after Joshua had already lost the vision and its purpose. Remember too, that oppression resides just beyond our vigilance and deliberate resistance to it.
