In these verses our writer comes back to the idea of covenant and the need for blood. Moses is looked at as a certain kind of mediator, but not a guarantor. Blood is almost always the medium for cleansing in the OT, but there were exceptions. What does the writer mean by speaking of 'heavenly things' needing to be cleansed?
