Preservation In War

David trusted in the Lord, who was to him Light, Deliverance, and Refuge. David expected preservation from his enemies, not because of his prowess as a warrior but in humble submission to the Lord who preserved him in every danger that confronted him. We can take hope and confidence in the Lord when we follow David's heart in seeking for the Lord as his only treasure.
