Paul's Ambition to Preach Christ

We all have ambitions in life, which define who we are. We must have spiritually-minded ambitions: to seek to glorify God for the sake of Christ and the Gospel. We are ambassadors on the earth representing the heavenly kingdom. Paul's holy ambition was to preach Christ where He is not already named. The ambitions of Biblical New Testament Christians were to seek God's glory, make Jesus known among the nations, establish healthy/Biblical churches and see them grow in maturity and their walk in Christ. It is a holy ambition because its source is holy, it is a result of an encounter with Jesus Christ, and it comes out of a love of Christ and His people. It is an ambition marked with determination and many hardships.
