Big Love - Television Gone Awry?

378

From the best of the Generations archives . . . Kevin Swanson brings out HBO's offering of 'Big Love,' a TV show urging a more accepting view of polygamy.

Mark Twain thought the best scriptural defense against polygamy was 'No man can serve two masters.' Polygamy is growing across America and some of the left see it as a wonderful apologetic for homosexual marriages or maybe even a marriage to 1 hamster, 2 wives, and a cell phone.

This program offers a little cultural analysis and explanations for the rejection of monogamy in an increasingly paganized culture. Why do pagans hate monogamy? Explanations offered herein.
