Heb # 10 The Faithfulness of Christ Hebrews 1 vs 1-2

122
  1. Moses was faithful in God's house as a servant and that means He was faithful to condemn and bring death to all who did not continue in all things written in the Law.
  2. But Moses could not bring an inheritance of salvation to anyone-because that is not what he was hired to do.
  3. Christ as the Son is He who was faithful in God's house to fulfill every jot and tittle of the Law and to send Moses into retirement, which latter thing many professing Christians continue to throw a tantrum about.
  4. But Christ as the Son is the bringer and giver of the eternal inheritance, which is salvation.
  5. Christ was faithful in all things agreed between Him and the Father as the Surety and redeemer of His people to bring them righteousness and holiness.
  6. Christ is faithful to both justify and sanctify because one cannot be sanctified by one who did not justify them, therefore the Law was not for justification therefore it is not for sanctification.
  7. The faithfulness of Christ was in accomplishing to the T all that was required for the standing of the elect before God. He did it all, He said, "It is finished" and we are complete in Him. God sees the believer as lacking nothing in Christ.
  8. The faithfulness of Christ is alone the merit and cause of salvation. That and more!
