In hope of eternal life (1:2-3)

At the proper time manifested in His Word

With which I have been entrusted
By the command of God our Savior

Applications
 
Our purpose is “the faith of God’s elect” and “their knowledge of the truth”!
 
In the context of a very corrupt culture, our living must match our teaching!
 
We can believe “the God who never lies”—our hope of eternal life is secure!
