The decrees of God are His eternal purpose, according the the counsel of His will, whereby, for His own glory, He hath foreordained whatsoever comes to pass. By His omniscient eye and His immutability, God has decreed all things once before the foundations of the earth. God's decrees are wise, free, and holy acts to which the elect may find rest.
