The Member's Mind

The Bible teaches that God is the absolute proprietor of all. It also teaches that He graciously bestows His possessions upon men. Additionally, the Bible reveals that men are accountable for the use they make of what is entrusted to them. The mind of a true church member is that of a fixed, conscious awareness that he is a steward of his gifts for ministry to his fellow householders in His Master's household. The true church member has the settled perspective that he is to be a trustworthy, productive steward of the grace of God which distributes all sorts of gifts to be employed in serving one another.
