THE BIBLE'S STORY: Abraham's Sacrifice Part 1 (12 in Series)

Genesis 22 is a remarkable passage. The sincerity of Abraham's faith and obedience is intense. Genesis 22 is part of the reason that Abraham in called the Father of believers.

We will note:

1. The Requirement of this Sacrifice
2. The Reason for this Sacrifice
3. The Picture of this Sacrifice

In today's passage Abraham is told to offer his son Isaac as a whole burnt offering. Although almost incomprehensible, Abraham proceeds to do what he's told. All this pictures for us the sacrifice of God's only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus. Heart wrenching.
