Luke Chapter 8, Part 2

As we continue through Luke's Gospel, we are studying the parable of the sower, as Jesus teaches on the miraculous inbreaking of God's Kingdom into the world and the harvest that is not the result of human activity, but of God's providential power. Jesus follows this parable and its explanation with a parable about the light and reminds all who hear that we are responsible for how we respond to the light, and what we do with the light of The Word.
