Jesus' Way to Glory

Pride is the greatest silent killer and the enduring enemy of the Christian. In this parable, Jesus shows us that the way to glory is to humble ourselves and wait for God to exalt us, for humility is the only way into God's kingdom. The opposite of self-centred pride, humility means placing God at the centre of our thoughts and actions. To develop humility we should meditate more on God, pray for the mind of Christ to be in us, and serve the church as Christ's body.
