The Hebrew Christians were accused of disrespecting Moses, because they honoured Jesus. Our author explains that we do nothing of the kind, we honour both Moses and Jesus, for both were faithful. But Jesus is worthy of, and receives, more honour than Moses, because Moses is a servant, but Jesus is the Son. Consider Jesus, our mediator and saviour.
