Proverbs 10:1-2

Chapter 10 begins a new section in Proverbs. This section uses small segments, usually written in antithetical parallelism, which teach a self-contained lesson. The lessons of these verses include: 1) The impact of the wisdom or foolishness of a child on the parents; 2) The uselessness of wealth gained by wickedness.
