The Death of Christ

Was the death of the LORD Jesus Christ on the cross purposed? Did Christ come to live His life as an example? Did Christ die to evoke our sympathy and pity? How do we see that it was God's Sovereign Eternal Counsel that determines all things? Why is it so important to know that Christ did not die for any sin of His own since He lived a life of perfect obedience to the law? How does Christ's perfect obedience mandatory for Him to be the Perfect Substitute for chosen sinners? How did Christ satisfy the justice of God the Father? Why was it necessary for Christ to die the death that was according to Scripture? How does the crucifixion of God's Son show us how evil sin is and how Holy God is? Does God force men to sin? Are men responsible for their sin? Why did Jesus Christ die in such a horrible way? Was Christ a victim in any way?
