I think our pastor would approve... I would like to dedicate this sermon to 'Larry in Ohio' and to all of you out there listening. You see, Larry is just one of the many great Bible scholars that listen to us here on SermonAudio, and we appreciate greatly your willingness to e-mail our pastor with questions and comments. The question Larry asked back in April is a wonderfully profound one. He asks, "Could the story of Saul (in 1st Samuel) be part of the Eden to Sodom to Gibeah puzzle?" And Larry, pastors answer to your question is, “Absolutely yes!”. Pastor also makes the comment that it is very hard to keep ahead of all of you out there who take the time to study out these issues. And I am so pleased that there are those of you who take the time to write to our pastor with these kinds of insights and questions. It's very encouraging to him, and to all of us way up here in Anchorage Alaska at Cliffside Community Chapel, to know that we are reaching and inspiring you.
For those of you who are first time listeners, I'd like to prepare you with a warning. There is a known side effect that may occur with prolonged exposure to these sermons. Listening to Pastor Chronister's sermons may cause chronic weirdness.
I'll not take up any more of your time, as most of you reading this are already hopelessly addicted and just want to get on to the sermon. So, Ladies and Gentlemen, I now present to you our pastor, Stephen A. Chronister.
Let's continue our study of Judges 19 thru 21. Open your Textbook and press play.
