Beware of False Conversion! Your Day In Court

There is a Day of Judgment coming. All of history is heading towards a great Day of reckoning, a Day in which Jesus Christ will judge every man, woman, boy, or girl who has ever lived from every nation, including you and me. There will be only two kinds of people on that Day: the sheep and the goats, the saved and the lost, the converted and the unconverted, the redeemed and the un-redeemed. But in our text we learn a most sobering truth: there will be two kinds of goats among the lost of this world. There will be those who do not claim to know Jesus, and those who do. Jesus' words here are a much needed gospel warning. There are not only few in the world who find the narrow gate that leads to life, there are few who truly find it in the visible church. What pronouncement will the Judge of judges make over you on that final and terrible Day of the Lord?
