A Sorcerer in the Church

With the power of the Holy Spirit manifest in the ministry of the Church, it is inevitable that power-hungry men will be drawn into church membership. The account of Simon the Sorcerer gives us occasion to consider what happens when church power is neither understood nor respected by men of perverse hearts claiming to be disciples of Jesus Christ.
