ll. Trust Jesus Christ to Secure God's Promises.
A. God's covenant made to Him (Gal 3:16)
B. God's covenant mediated by Him (Heb 12:24)
C. God's covenant promises "yes" in Him (1 Cor 1:20)
D. God's covenant secured by Him (Heb 7:22; 13:20)

lll. Make Jesus Christ the Center of Child-Raising/Discipleship.
A. Goal: Christ's Glory, not parental vindication (John 3:30)
B. Standard: Christ's Word, not our wisdom (John 8:31, 32)
C. Motive: Christ's love, not fear, control, guilt (2 Cor 5:14)
D. Loveliness: Christ's glorious person and work (Col 1:18)
E. Power: Christ's work in them and in us (Col 1:29)
F. Trust: Christ's purposes and timing, not ours (Prov 3:5)
G. Meekness: Christ's Heart to our children (Matt 11:29)
