Easter Sunday wasn't quite as joyful as we might suppose. While we can see and believe the vents that took place, on the first Easter Sunday, things were still quite gloomy.
Even though the woman had gone to the tomb at first light, they didn't find Jesus and received a message from angels... or men in white apparel. They remembered and went and told the disciples what they had seen and heard, but it didn't convince the disciples.
They thought their words were like idol tales... tall tales... a big story that wasn't true. So prevalent was their unbelief that it became necessary for Jesus to come and visit them.
It is this reality we will look at today.
