Absalom's Death

David loves his son Absalom even though he was wayward. We see David in this passage again reflecting the Greater David. Parental relationships with their children are discussed. We are reminded to keep our hearts with all diligence and to set our minds on things above. We are to rest in the goodness of the Lord.
