What Really Matters?

Sometimes, it is good to ask ourselves, 'What really matters?' Paul was pressed in this way by problems at Galatia and answered,'...nothing but faith working by love', or '...nothing but a new creation'. To the Corinthians, he said, 'Nothing matters but keeping the commandments of God'.
Paul also says that nothing matters alongside of the message of Christ and his cross because it is by this word that faith is born and God's new creation is revealed and the commandments of God are fulfilled. May the Lord grant us to be filled again with confidence in the God who has revealed himself to us in the cross of his Son.
