Courtroom Confessions

In Hosea chapter 5, God hides his face and withdraws the comfort of his presence from his professing people on account of their sins. But God's rejection of Israel is neither total nor final. He does not close the door of grace and lock it. There is a way back to heaven from the very brink of hell, for them... and for you and me. That way is the way of confession and repentance. Will Israel now return to the Lord? We find the answer in chapters 6 and 7. God will not accept the empty repentance of the Israelites. Will he accept yours?
