The Lord Jesus had mercy on a sinner ordained to everlasting life. Therefore, his sin was not the issue. God always looked upon him as a vessel of mercy to glorify Himself.
Let us preach to sinners in the hope that they've been ordained to life also, not pointing fingers merely at their sin.
