Jesus Hath Made Me Free

The Apostle is the first great Theologian of the Christian Church, though not the only one. His Epistle to the Romans contains much concentrated and profound Gospel doctrine. Just prior to our verses we have Chapter seven that talks of the two natures in a born again believer, and something of how it is experienced. Chapter eight speaks of the believer's position before God because of salvation, in spite of this clash of natures. It can be summarized in this sentence: Believers are saved, because they are delivered from being under the law, and have entered into the liberation of grace:
