Bitter Places Made Sweet

Today, I would like for us to consider a passage of Scripture found in Exodus 15:22-27. The children of Israel have been led by the LORD through Moses to a bitter place. They had gone on a three-day journey in search of water, and when they found what they had hoped for, the water had a bitter taste. They began to complain and murmur against Moses, but the LORD answered Moses prayer and gave them a solution to the problem. Today, the title will be “Bitter Places Made Sweet.” We will consider how bitter places reveal 1) Our Hearts 2) Our Only Hope 3) Our Healer.
