The Scattered Church

For the person that has received new life, what now is the meaning of their life? What should the Christian’s calendar look like? Is it OK for the Christian to be concerned about his status here, this side of eternity? What happens when the things you get become your identity and your self-worth?  When, exactly, did the persecution against the church begin?
