Watch out for Satan

Satan desires to sift all of us who belong to God. He longs to trip us up at every possible opportunity presented to him to destroy our testimony. And God allows this; not to hurt us but to help make us stronger. While satan is trying to strip us down God is building us up. When we go through this and fail God doesn't cast us off; we may cast Him off which is what satan wants. We may be beaten down but Jesus is right there for us. Satan will play with our minds; get us thinking ‘where are you God?', while the storm rages. His traps are cunning and often successful. Deception, depression, doubt, danger are abounding around us because of these traps he has placed. No matter how innocent or little it may seem the trap will be sprung and bring these terrors on us if we mess with them. We must stay focused, be on the lookout for satan, and keep our eyes on the Lord. The Christian has help available to him; the lost however only has one hope, to call on Jesus to save them. The lost are already pinned down by satan, the saved when knocked down need to turn to Jesus to get back up again. Or just lay there and play dead for satan. But that is not what God wants of us. He wants us to watch out for our enemy.
