An Urgent Exhortation Toward Gospel-Centered Spiritual Maturity

The author of Hebrews calls his reader/listerner to recognize that remaining on the bottle as an infant may mean that the gospel did not begin
the work that God intends for it to begin. The writer of Hebrews does not know why some are not pressing forward while other do. He calls for the ABCs of the oracles of God and the word of righteousness to be delivered again in hopes that the truth will do what it is intended to do. The question as to whether the first oracles and the word of truth is the gospel or the moral and ethical teaching of Christ is dealt with in this sermon.
