In this lesson, spiritual applications are drawn from Jesus' introduction to the Sermon on the Mount. Because of time constraints we have chosen to pass by the doctrinal meaning to the Jews and the literal reign of Christ on this earth. The 9 beatitudes are broken up into two main headings: 1) The inner-look at ourselves and our relationship to God, and 2) The outer-look at our responsibility to others.
