Yes, even John the Baptist had doubts--not unbelief, but doubts. And we can learn much about our own potential to doubt, and how to avoid such depression and discouragement. And we learn much about our kind and gracious Shepherd Savior in how He did not condemn but ministered to His sheep in Matt 11:1-6ff.
